Topic: RE: Arundhati Roy's Neelam Plan for Kashmir Petition

Message:

The problem can be easily resolved if both Governments allow the people to
live there. The outside world has no idea of what is happening inside.
Is that very difficult to allow the international journalists to give
reports on what is happening there? Ok, there are security issues. How
about having an agreement with the people of Kashmir, the terrorist
groups, Pakistan Government, Indian Government to allow the journalists to
get inside and take stock of the situation. This includes Pakistan Kashmir
too. Really I want to see if there are people living or Indian and
Pakistani forces are fighting in a graveyard. The next step will be
giving humanitarian aid to people who are affected due to the war
situation. If Indian & Pakistani Governments are not enough to supply
food, water & medicine, let us invite international aides to help
them. The next step will be forming an interim administration until a
peace accord is signed. The international community can lead this
interim administration which will govern basic needs of the people. If
we do all the previous steps, there will be signs of hope how the problem
can be resolved. If people are not important, only border is important,
then hell to them.
